This Privacy Policy describes how TJW Home Services (“TJW,” “we,” “us”) treats information in connection with tjwhomeservices.com (the “Site”) and the home improvement inquiries, quotes, newsletters, and related conversations that start here. We wrote it in plain language because kitchens and bathrooms are already complicated enough.
We designed the Site as a static, client-side experience. Forms validate in your browser and display a thank-you message. That architecture means this Policy talks both about information you type into a form and about information that would be processed if a coordinator later copies your message into our internal tools to reply. We do not publish a telephone number or a street address on the Site; the forms are the intended door.
It covers visitors who read pages, homeowners who request a quote, people who subscribe or unsubscribe from email, and anyone who writes to us about a project, a partnership, or these legal pages. It does not cover websites we do not control, including social networks opened by share buttons.

Please do not put payment card numbers, government identification numbers, or passwords into a message field. We will never ask for a card number through the public Site forms.
Like most websites, the Site may be delivered through a host that records technical logs: browser type, general location derived from IP address, pages requested, and timestamps. We use such logs, if available from hosting, to keep the Site available, to diagnose errors, and to understand which service pages are read most often. We do not use those logs to sell lists of homeowners.
We do not currently drop advertising cookies from third-party ad networks on this static Site. If that changes, we will update this Policy and, where required, ask for a choice. Your browser may still store local settings. Social share buttons, when clicked, send the page URL to that network according to the network’s own rules.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent newsletter lists. We do not allow a paint brand or a cabinet factory to email you unless you separately opted in with them.
The subscribe page and the orange newsletter bar let you ask for email about our services. We will send that mail only if you provide a valid address and complete the form. Frequency is modest; we would rather write a useful note than a weekly catalog.
You may leave at any time through the unsubscribe page or through a link included in a newsletter when we send one. After you unsubscribe from marketing, we may still email you about a project you already opened — for example, a reply to a quote — until that conversation ends. Those operational messages are not a trick to keep you on a list.
If someone else subscribed your address by mistake, use the unsubscribe form. If you believe a neighbor used your email, tell us on the contact form and we will investigate.
We share information only when it helps complete your request or when the law requires it:
We do not share your phone number or email on public pages. Testimonials on the Site use first name and last initial or a first and last name a homeowner already agreed to display; they are not a data dump of every client.
If we photograph your project, those images may contain rooms, finishes, and sometimes reflections. We crop out mail, school artwork with full names, and screens showing private messages when we notice them. Marketing use requires your permission as described in the Terms. Quality-control photos stay in the project file.
Quote inquiries that do not become projects are kept only as long as needed to reply and to understand seasonal demand, then reduced or deleted on a reasonable cycle. Project files — scopes, selections, warranties, and photos of concealed conditions — are kept longer because a leak or a finish question can appear years after handover. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe, plus a short suppression record. Technical logs follow the host’s rotation.
When we no longer need personal information, we delete it or store it in a form that no longer identifies you, unless a law asks us to keep a record.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to a home improvement studio: limited access to inquiries, devices that lock, and caution about phishing. No website or inbox is perfect. Please use a unique password on your own email account, because that is how most quote replies travel. If you suspect a message that claims to be TJW is asking for a card number or a wire to a personal account, do not comply — contact us through the Site form instead.
Because forms are client-side, a thank-you message on screen is not a cryptographic receipt. Treat sensitive topics (for example, a vacant house and a lockbox code) with care; share access details only after you know you are speaking with our coordinator on a channel you trust.
The Site is for adults planning home improvement. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child submitted a form, write to us through the contact page and we will delete the information we can identify.
The Site may be viewed from many places. We do not claim a particular country in our public content. If you write to us from another region, you understand that your message will be read by our coordination team and processed to reply to your home improvement question. Where a privacy law gives you rights of access, correction, deletion, or objection, we will honor those rights to the extent they apply to us and to the records we hold. Use the contact form with the subject “Privacy request” and describe what you need. We may ask you to confirm you are the person the record is about.
Font files, icon libraries, and share dialogs are delivered by third parties when your browser loads this Site. Those parties may see that a page was requested. We chose them for performance and design, not to profile homeowners for advertising. Their policies govern their own collection.
When we add a new form, a new mailing, or a new tool, we will update this page and the date below. If a change is material — for example, if we began using information for a new purpose incompatible with this Policy — we will provide a more prominent notice on the Site. Continued use after an update means the new Policy applies to information collected afterward. You can always read the current version at this URL.
The Terms & Services explain estimates, workmanship, and Site use. This Policy explains personal information. Please read both. If you do not agree, do not submit forms. Stopping use of the Site does not automatically erase a project file if work already happened; that file follows the retention rules above.
Write through the contact form with a clear subject such as “Privacy Policy,” “Access request,” or “Delete newsletter.” A representative will contact you using the email you provide. We may need time to locate records across a quote inbox and a project folder; we will not ignore a genuine request.
If you are unsatisfied with our reply, you may have the right to speak with a data protection authority where you live. We would rather fix a mistake directly — a wrong email on a list, a photo you did not want public — and we will try.
